Culture Committee

 

The Culture Committee is committed to achieving resource sharing, collaboration and common development between SRCIC and its members and enhancing all kinds of cultural industry development across countries along the Silk Road. The Committee plans and organizes the support and cooperation in cultural sector for countries along the Silk Road and coordinates them to organize various cultural activities.

Harvey Dzodin

Mr. Harvey Dzodin was awarded the Juris Doctor degree by Harvard Law School and the advanced degree of Master of Laws from the London School of Economics. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree with High Honors in 1969 from Michigan State University.

 

Dr. Dzodin was a political appointee of President Jimmy Carter and served as lawyer to a presidential commission. Upon the nomination of the White House and the US State Department he served at the United Nations Office in Vienna, Austria. He was Director and Vice President of the ABC Television in New York for more than two decades.

 

After a distinguished career in the US government and American media, Dr. Harvey Dzodin is now a Beijing-based freelance columnist for China Daily, commentator on China Global Television Network (CCTV English Channel) and on China Radio International.

Professor Keith Luo is the CEO of the Oxford Management Consultancy Ltd in the UK. He also works as Director of Studies for the DBA Programme of the University of the West of Scotland (London campus). Holding a PhD in Economics from London University, he has worked successively as Research Officer at London, Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, Lecturer at Leeds University, Weilun Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University (Beijing), Research Professor at Sungkyunkwan University (Seoul), and Guest Professor at Renmin University of China (Beijing). He is also a Chartered Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport and an Advisor on Free Trade Zones for the Fujian Provincial Government in China.

Mr. Yang has designed and managed the Three Kingdoms Project as well as Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Project in Zhejiang Province.

 

In 2014, Mr. Yang founded Zhejiang Tu Suo Education Technology Co. Ltd. which was awarded with Outstanding Hi-tech Enterprise in 2015.

 

Mr. Yang has worked as the Deputy Secretary General of EDP Education Alliance since 2004 and won the honor of 2011 Advanced Individual in Continuing Education of Zhejiang University.
