On 14-17 June 2017, the 13th high-level meeting of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Russia, Mongolia and China was jointly held in Ulan Bator, Mongolia by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. George Zhang, Deputy Secretary General of SRCIC attended the meeting as representative of SRCIC organization.

The meeting had two forums, focusing on the regional cooperation and innovation, and the interaction between governments and business chambers. To make the event more practical, a promotion presentation was held for Chinese and Mongolian enterprise exchange in investment and projects.

CCPIT delegation was headed by its Vice President Mr. Chen Zhou. He stated that the meeting was held to provide platform opportunities for enterprises of three countries in exchange and cooperation. CCPIT will continue its efforts in developing business relation between China and Mongolia.

Mongolia is the co-founder of the High-Level Meeting and also an important country member of SRCIC. Madam Oyunchimeg Magvan, CEO of Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Vice Chair of SRCIC, addressed the session of Cooperation Mechanism in Regional and Cross Border Trade at both the opening and closing meetings. She also chaired the promotion presentation for Chinese and Mongolian enterprises in minerals, heavy industry, energy, oil import, and construction.

Mr. Zhang, on behalf of SRCIC, spoke at the meeting "We wait for you at the starting point of the Silk Road", introducing the progress made by SRCIC members and the international influence achieved so far. At the same time, Mr. Zhang extended the sincere invitation from SRCIC Chairman Mr. Lu Jianzhong for all the participants to 2017 Silk Road Business Summit and the International Culture Week to be held in Xi'an China on 8 September 2017. Mr. Zhang stressed that the Summit will be another good occasion for countries and organizations to present their cultures and projects, to promote international cooperation and interaction.
