A Seminar on People-to-People Exchange: A New Model under the Belt and Road Initiative

Co-hosted by People's Government of Xian Municipality, China Chamber of International Commerce, Shaanxi Sub-Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce, and Chinese Culture Promotion Society, the Seminar on People-to-People Exchange: a New Model under the Belt and Road Initiative will be held at Tang West Market, Xi’an, China this Saturday, 20 May 2017.

 

Themed on Belt and Road construction and people-to-people exchange, the seminar has four topics: Thoughts and theories on cultural exchange under the Belt and Road Initiative; Development of cultural undertakings: civilization and culture interaction; Cultural creative industry: internet+ for international culture business; Chang’an Tour: the Silk Road international culture tourism.

 

Government officials from Ministry of Commerce of China, State Administration of Cultural Heritage, Shaanxi Province, and Xi’an City, and scholars, experts and representatives of cultural enterprises will gather together at the seminar to discuss above-mentioned four topics. Meanwhile, the Committee of Experts on Cultural Exchange under the Belt and Road Initiative will be set up, aiming at enabling humanity exchange to play its role in Belt and Road construction, creating cultural exchange new models, new mechanism and new platforms, and enhancing mutual learning and people-to-people bond between China and countries along the Silk Road.
