Member Updates: Armenian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission Session in Warsaw

On February 20, 2018, Armenian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission Session took place in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, which was attended by ambassadors, representatives of relevant departments and business communities of both countries.


During the session, Armenian-Polish B2G business forum on the initiative of the Polish Chamber of Commerce was organized in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Republic of Armenia.


Around 100 Polish companies acquainted with the trade partners from Armenia for different spheres of business, investment opportunities and advantages of bilateral cooperation. There were separate meetings with representatives of Polish business to result in new acquaintance arrangements.


During the Intergovernmental Commission Session, the CCI of RA talked about Armenian-Polish trade relations, analysis of trade figures between two countries and topics of long-term and sustainable partnership with the Polish Chamber of Commerce.


In 2011, a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia and Polish Chamber of Commerce was signed, and the bilateral business meetings and conferences have been organized after then. The last business forum occurred on October 4, 2017 in the hall of CCI of Armenia, Yerevan.
