14 August 2017, the first Phoenix Belt and Road TV Forum ended in Beijing Phoenix International Media Center. The forum was sponsored by Phoenix Satellite Television. Participants from political and business circles and the mainstream media discussed how Chinese enterprises can take the opportunities brought out by the Belt and Road Initiative to transform national brands into world class brands. Officials from UNDP China, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Phoenix TV were present at the Forum and delivered speeches.

Lu Jianzhong said, the Belt and Road requires not only the cooperation at state and government level but also the response from social sectors. In 2015, Tang West Market gathered 36 countries along the Silk Road and established the world first "Silk Road" named international business organization. The Belt and Road stands for China's responsibility and obligation as the second largest economy in the world, participating in the formulation of international standards and rules so as to have more voices in international affairs.

This forum focused on the collaboration among media agencies, insurance institutions and corporations. In the future, Phoenix TV will quarterly hold “The Belt and Road TV Forum”, featuring global visions and professional viewpoints to assist Chinese enterprises create world brands.
