Mr. Li introduced SRCIC and its projects and platforms, including eSilkRoad, Silk Road International Development Fund, and Silk Road International Association of Museums. He especially extended the invitation to Mr. Heine for 2017 Silk Road Business Summit to be held in Xi'an on 8 September this year. Mr. Li also expressed the idea to have the annual meeting alternatively held in different SRCIC member countries so as to achieve closer connectivity and better interaction in international communities.

Mr. Heine took the invitation with pleasure and said Xi'an is one of the cities he loves most in the world. He introduced the geography, economy, infrastructure, and the culture of the Republic of Chile.  In terms of bilateral trade, he said Chile is the 3rd biggest wine exporter to China, only after the USA and France, and the 2nd for fruit export to China only after Thailand. All these indicate China has become the No.1 world trade partner to Chile. And in the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, the business between China and the South America will continue to grow and develop for mutual benefits.
