B&R News: Five projects involving Chinese investment to be launched in Kazakhstan in 2018

"This year the implementation of five projects involving Chinese capital will be launched with an investment of $623 million, including the construction of a $40 million Sin Yuan Steel Metallurgical Plant," said Zhenis Kasymbek, Minister of Investment Development, at the Government session on February 27.

 

Within the framework of China-Kazakh cooperation, 51 projects are implemented in Kazakhstan with a total of $27.7 billion, among which, 4 projects with an amount of $140 million have been put into operation, including $12 million of powdered polypropylene plant modernization in Pavlodar region, $22 million of JAC cars production, $19 million production of rapeseed oil in the North Kazakhstan region and $90 million of Dry Port in the territory of the free economic zone "Khorgos-East Gate".
