5 December 2018, Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also a member of SRCIC, held Founding Ceremony in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. Over 80 guests including Boris Foca, Chairman of Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Wu Yan, Economic Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Moldova, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Agriculture, and National Bank of Moldova attended the event.

Wu Yan expressed in his speech that the cooperation between Chinese and Moldavian enterprises has maintained a good momentum in recent years. Moldova's high-quality products such as wine have great potential to the Chinese market. “On the occasion of establishment of Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, I hope to build a bridge between China and Moldova and to make contribution for the business development” he added.

Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry became the formal member of SRCIC in November, 2018.

 

Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry is headquartered in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, which aims at promoting the development of economic and trade relations, business and investment between Moldova and China, accelerating the export of Moldovan brands, products and technologies to China, and facilitating the high-tech exchanges and educational cooperation projects.
