Mr. Lu Jianzhong attends China's 1st session of the 13th NPC

On 5 March 2018, China's upmost annual meeting, the National People's Congress (NPC), opened its 1st session of the 13th congress in Beijing this morning.

 

 

Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang delivered an hour-and-half government report, reviewing the achievement over the past five years and elaborating the development plan and some internal and external policies for the year of 2018.

 

 

SRCIC Chairman Lu Jianzhong is participating in the congress for the first time as one of the delegates from Shaanxi Province. Mr. Lu is also fulfilling his duty by submitting several proposals to the Congress, including implementation regulation for international organizations registered in China, Chinese government support for international business organizations in the Belt and Road construction, rules and standards for international artwork trading,and a demonstration area of holistic tourism in Shaanxi Province.

 

 

With close to 3000 representatives from all sectors of China, the 1st session of the 13th Chinese National People's Congress will proceed with the budget report, the constitution amendment, the reform program of the State Council, and the election and appointment of the central government members among its ten items on the agenda. The congress will end on 20 March 2018.
