On July 6th 2017, the 8th Annula Global Conference of Qin Entrepreneurs was held in Xi'an Qujiang International Convention Centre. The Conference was entitled “Pooling resources and Promoting advancement”. Mr. WEI Zengjun, Deputy Governor of Shaanxi Provincial People's Government presented and delivered a speech, and Mr. ZHANG Xiaoning, Deputy Secretary-General of Shaanxi Provincial People's Government presided over the Conference. The Conference attracted over 600 participants, including government officials from Shaanxi and other provinces and cities, representing 25 provinces, 39 cities, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan of China and 21 countries.

Mr. WEI Zengjun expressed his resolve to serve the Qin entrepreneurs, to create a better environment and to provide adequate assistance for Qin entrepreneurs.

The Opening Ceremony was followed by a Projects Introduction Session, which was presided over by Mr. XUE Hua, Chairman of CCPIT-Shaanxi. During the session, Municipal People's Governments of three cities, Ankang, Xianyang and Yulin, introduced their PPP projects. Shaanxi Development and Reform Commission released the Shaanxi civil-military industry projects, while Shaanxi Commerce Department presented the development of China (Shaanxi) Free Trade Pilot Zone.

In the afternoon of July 6th, the Conference held a session titled “Promoting advancement”. Mr. ZHANG Weiying, the renowned economist, Mr. GUO Jiaxue, Chairman of Beijing-Shaanxi Enterprise Chamber of Commerce and Mr. LU Jianzhong, Chairman of the Board of Tang West Market and the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce delivered keynote speeches.

Mr. LU Jianzhong extended his warm congratulations to the Conference and paid tribute to Qin entrepreneurs and other entrepreneurs around the globe, for their contributions and support. Mr. Lu introduced the development of the SRCIC and promised that the SRCIC will provide a platform for quality services for Qin entrepreneurs to reach out to the world. Also, Mr. Lu invited the entrepreneurs presented to attend the 2017 Xi'an Silk Road Business Summit and Silk Road International Culture Week. Later, Mr. Lu was interviewed by CRI Online.

Mr. SUN Liming, Vice Chairman of Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce and Managing Director of Lishan Company Limited was also present.

Qin entrepreneurs home and abroad are the witnesses of the business development of Shaanxi. At present, there are over 140 Qin entrepreneurs' associations with over 50,000 members around the world. It was noted that the Conference had a signing ceremony for 16 projects, including 12 contracts and 4 strategic cooperation agreements. The total amount of the investment reached 17.165 billion RMB.
