Member Updates: The Strengthened Collaboration between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan

On 8 April 2018, Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharif Said met with Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Tajikistan Hasan Mammadzade.

 

The meeting focused on the collaboration between enterprises in Tajikistan and Azerbaijan. During the conversation, both leaders came to agree that the bilateral development can be pushed forward effectively by commercial activities of business promotion, exhibition, expo, forum and conference. The partnership potential is to be tapped.

 

Mr. Sharif Said indicated, "The most available sectors for such collaboration can be as extensive as hydroelectric resources, mining, apiculture, agricultural processing, mechanical engineering, health care, education, culture, tourism infrastructure, IT, banking system."

 

H.E. Hasan Mammadzade said the business experience of current Azerbaijan companies in Tajikistan were valuable in motivating the hesitated entrepreneurs . He also pointed out the importance of aeronautical telecommunication connection between Duschanbe and Baku.
 
In the end, Mr. Mammadzade thanked Mr. Said for providing useful business information and expressed his determination in  expanding business cooperation between the two countries.
