Second Ukrainian Silk Road Forum to be held in Kyiv in November

2017 Ukrainian Silk Road Forum was initiated by SRCIC with Ukraine Silk Link and Ukraine House and Center for Contemporary China. The theme of the Forum is on cooperation and development of co-constructing Belt and Road mechanism and platforms, focusing on subjects of culture exchanges, as well as trade and investment, between China and Ukraine. The forum will be held in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, on November 16.

 

The former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, First Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Herashchenko, First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv, and Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klitchko will attend the Forum and deliver speeches. This forum will have discussions on infrastructure, logistic, e-commerce, law consultancy, science and technology, culture and tourism.

 

First Ukrainian Silk Road Forum took place in Kyiv in November 7, 2016 with over 300 representatives from more than 60 countries attending the forum and the settlement of investment proposals reached nearly US$ 100 million.

 

The major guests of first Ukrainian Silk Road Forum: (left to right)  Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Mr. Zubko, Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Du Wei, SRCIC Chairman Lu Jianzhong, Chairman of Poroshenko Foundation Maryna Poroshenko, First Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mrs. Herashchenko.
