Updates of 2017 Xi'an Silk Road Business Summit and Silk Road International Culture Week

The anticipated Summit and Culture Week have come into the final days of its countdown, 8 September 2017.

 

So far, there are over 100 international participants from 67 countries coming to the event, including state heads, government officials, representatives of international organization, ambassadors to China, business leaders of national associations and transnational company groups.

 

And over 400 Chinese participants will show up at the Summit at the same time. Among them are the representatives from Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, China Banking Regulatory Commission, China Insurance Regulatory Commission, and other financial institutions and organizations, together with trade and industrial partners.

 

The keynote speeches, parallel forums and thematic activities will form up the whole event, including cultural exchanges and exhibitions starting from September 5 to 18 in the well known heritage site of Tang West Market Museum.

 

New alliances in different areas will be set up for project implementation, new agreements will be signed over for further collaboration, and a XIAN CONSENSUS will be released for the concerted action to contribute to the building of a global community with a share future.

 

There will also be SRCIC 2017 Award for Outstanding Leadership and the ribbon cutting for the start of the exhibitions.

 

SRCIC Executive Board will hold its 6th meeting on the 2th day and visits and tours will be arranged for the participants to local historical sites.

 

The whole process of the Summit and Culture Week will surely be an exciting and rewarding occasion for all of us.
